basics

Jeremy Danvers is a born werewolf; son of Malcolm Danvers and a Japanese woman in a one night stand. He is of the leader of the North American Werewolf Pack, having won the Alpha Race when he was 34 years old.As Alpha, Jeremy considers his pack as if they were his family. Because they are. He loves the pack more than anything. He would fight for them, he would die for them. As Alpha his resonsibility also lies in making sure Werewolves aren't exposed to the human population. This means he must have strict rules not only for Pack Wolves, but non-pack wolves.

Jeremy's pack consists of Antonio Sorrentino, his best friend (and husband in many verses), as well as Nick Sorrentino - Antonio's son. Clayton Danvers, Jeremy's adopted son. Elena Michaels, Logan Jonsen, and Peter Myers. After a group of packless werewolves banded together to challenge the pack authority, Logan and Peter were murdered. Eventually, Karl Marsten joined the pack.

More like the shadow of a wild than an animal itself. - Jaime Vegas describing Jeremy's wolf form.Werewolves can change from human to wolf without the need of the full moon. A werewolf who changes frequently, at least once a week, has more control over the change and of themselves as a wolf. Someone who pushes the change off until their body forces the change - roughly a month - will not have control over themselves as a wolf and are more likely to lose control as a human.Jeremy changes twice a week, and he has perfect control over himself and the change. He can also change forms in a matter of minutes, the fastest of anyone in the pack. He also can perform part changes with ease, such as changing his hand to give him claws - or even more difficult, changing his paw to a hand when in wolf form.

In addition to Jeremy's usual werewolf abilities, such as slowed aging, enhanced senses, strength, speed and healing - Jeremy also has other abilities. He has a psychic connection with those he cares about, able to sense or even have visions when they are in danger, communicate with them in their dreams, and even able to find them over long distances. Jeremy never understood these abilities, brushing them off as a normal werewolf 'pack bond' thing that he worked to make stronger. (Even though he knew it's not.)

Jeremy Danvers, son of Malcolm Danvers, was born following a one night stand between Malcolm and an unknown woman. Jeremy never met his mother, as werewolf Pack Law stated that a werewolf son must be taken away from the mother to be raised in the pack. The pack, at this time, led by Dominic Sorrentino, Antonio's father. The Sorrentinos, Danvers, and the Santoses(Jeremy does not know the specifics about what happened but he has long suspected that Malcolm murdered his mother.)He was raised at the Danvers family home, but not by Malcolm. Jeremy's grandfather, Edward, was the one who raised Jeremy as best as he could. Malcolm lived there, and Jeremy was around him often, but Malcolm despised Jeremy and did everything to make Jeremy's childhood hell. Edward did what he could to protect Jeremy from Malcolm, but it was not enough. Throughout his childhood, Jeremy (and Edward) covered up Malcolms crimes, knowing that if he was found out he would be exiled from the Pack - meaning he would be free on the world with no one to control his damage.Jeremy had been ready to go to college when Edward died, and left Stonehaven and everything to Jeremy. This meant Jeremy had to alter his plans and stay home, getting a job as a translator to earn enough money to keep Stonehaven - and give his father an allowance.

young adult

When Jeremy was 21 years old, he learned of a child who had been bitten by a werewolf and left in the bayou. Jeremy, upon hearing this, travelled out to the bayou to find this child and bring him into the pack. He eventually befriended, earned the trust of, and adopted seven-year-old Clayton. He ended up being assignde to help the Pack Youths with their changes, and as the years passed Dominic was giving Jeremy more and mroe responsibilities, sending a message he was priming Jeremy to be his successor for Alpha. Yet Dominic never officially named him as such.

alpha race

After the death of Dominic Sorrentino, Malcolm Danvers put himself forward as contender for Alpha. So did Jeremy, who used pack law to ensure the Alpha Race was a vote instead of a fight to the death. The vote came down to a tie, with three members of the pack choosing to take two days to think about their decision. Those three members all fled, leaving the alpha race in a stalemate. This stalemate continued for six months, until Malcolm finally made his move. The attempt on Jeremy's life resulted in the death of two of Malcolm's supporters, two more fleeing, and Malcolm being alone. Jeremy won the Alpha Race, and banished Malcolm.

The first thing Jeremy did as Alpha was outlaw Mutt Hunts, a barbaric tradition that has gone back generations where pack wolves could go out and hunt and kill any non-pack werewolf just because they were bored. He also set up new ways to track and keep an eye on non-pack werewolves to make sure they weren't breaking any of the laws that were set - specifically man-eating.A decade passed before Clayton brought home his very human girlfriend, Elena. Jeremy had rules about dating humans. A simple rule: don't do it. Casual relationships were fine, but Clay wanted to marry this woman. Wanted to reveal the existance of werewolves to her. Jeremy couldn't let that happen, so while he was talking with her he was trying to find ways to chase Elena away, to ensure she would leave Clay. Would it break his sons heart? Of course, and Jeremy hated to do that to him. But there was a reason this rule existed.The next few moments explained perfectly why this rule existed. Clayton had changed into a wolf, come into the room, and ignored Jeremy's warnings as he bit Elena, turning her into a werewolf. It is not an easy process. It is not a very survivable process. Most bitten by werewolves die during the transformation process. Jeremy fought his hardest to keep Elena alive. And he did. She became a werewolf, and joined his pack.TBA

the kogitsune

Jeremy is a hybrid between a werewolf and an unknown supernatural creature. At least, it was unknown for the majority of his life. Eventually, he learned of the existance of the Kogitsune; a race that was created by the Kitsune by sharing their blood with a dying race of Rune Casters. The Kitsune considered the Kogitsune their indentured servants. The Kogitsune disagreed with this, and using their rune caster magics to protect themselves, they fled. Including Jeremy’s mother and grandmother. They realised that having a Kogitsune child with supernatural creatures helped hide that child from the Kitsune that were searching for them.Because of the mix of Kogitsune/Kitsune blood with his werewolf blood, it gives Jeremy the powers that the Kitsune have. He also has the Rune Casters abilities that the Kitsune do not have - nor do they like them. Other abilities that Jeremy currently knows and uses: sensing and having visions of people in danger

NOTE
It is IMPORTANT to note that no one can just look at Jeremy and know he is a Kogitsune. The fact he's part werewolf covers this up, and it took 50 years of Kitsune actively searching to find him. This is also information Jeremy keeps close to his chest.

An AU where Jeremy's mother managed to escape with him, raising him for a while there with knowledge of his kitsunegari / runecaster side, and away from the Pack. When Malcolm catches up with them years later and kills Jeremy's mother, Jeremy manages to escape but then the whole pack find out about him and work to get him in.

This AU is set primarily before the main Women of the Otherworld series, however I'm entirely happy to fudge with the timeline a bit so characters and dynamics that didn't exist pre-series can be involved.

Jeremy was born from a one night stand between the werewolf Malcolm Danvers and a young supernatural woman named Mitsuki. Malcolm was originally unaware of Mitsuki’s supernatural nature, thinking she was a normal human woman. It was only after witnessing the birth of his son did he realise that she was not human, that she was something else. That his son was something else.Pressured by his father and pack law to bring his son into the pack, Malcolm knew he could not let anyone else discover his freak of a son and set out to take care of the problem. He killed Mitsuki’s grandmother, nearly killed Mitsuki and baby Jeremy, but Edward Danvers arrival gave Mitsuki the chance she needed to escape with her son.Using her magic, she managed to disappear and raise her son. For a while at least, until Jeremy started his werewolf changes. Mitsuki was alone now, with little knowledge of werewolves. So she reached out to Edward Danvers. It was a risk, she knew, but she needed a werewolf to help. Edward agreed to meet with her, and though she did not outright say she was supernatural - she implied it. She also said that she was not giving her son over to the pack.Mitsuki and Edward met a few times before she was willing to introduce him to Jeremy. But she did. Someplace same, someplace busy, someplace Jeremy and Mitsuki could slip off and disappear easily if the need arose. It did not. Edward had not been what Jeremy was expecting, and Edward gave Jeremy some helpful tips with the change and asked if they could meet again. Jeremy agreed.They met three more times, then on the fourth... Malcolm followed him.Jeremy was with Edward when he sensed his mother in danger. He ran. He was almost to her when he felt her die.

That was his first meeting with his father with Mitsuki's blood still on his hands and her body on the blood behind him.He could have tried to fight Malcolm, but there was no point. He knew he was no match for him, and though the werewolf instincts inside of him demanded Jeremy fight, to protect his own - Jeremy ran. Only managing to escape Malcolm by using the magic that his mother had taught him.Shortly after this, Edward Danvers died. Jeremy felt it, a softer more subtler death than feeling his mothers. But he still felt it. Jeremy did not know the next events, but when Edward Danvers Will was read out in front of the pack, Edward had named 'Jeremy Danvers, my grandson' as his sole beneficiary. There was a letter to Dominic explaining about Jeremy's existance (though it left out a few details, such as Malcolms desire to kill Jeremy.)Now aware of his existance, Dominic wants to bring Jeremy into the pack. He belongs there - he's a Danvers. Malcolm's mission to kill Jeremy has gotten a lot harder but he's still planning to try to kill Jeremy before the pack can find him and find out he's not a proper werewolf. He keeps this a secret, except for when recruits the pack members loyal to him to help with this plan, and the devide between Dominic's supporters and Malcolms supporters grows wider and wider.While The Pack is starting to fall apart, Jeremy is accidentally building his own little pack. He doesn't call it that, not realising that's what he's doing. But he still finds Clayton and helps and adopts him, he finds Peter Myers in LA and helps him clean up his mess before The Pack can find him. He meets others who gravitate towards his leadership,

Jeremy is a HALF-ELF werewolf Ranger.Jeremy is an artist, a painter. In the art world he is somewhat well known and his paintings sell for quite a decent chunk of coin. This does unfortunately mean he has to travel into the cities to sell them. He makes infrequent trips, and once there he tries to leave as fast as he can. As a werewolf, a half-wood elf, and ranger - he just prefers being among the trees okay? It was on one of these trips that Jeremy was grabbed by the Nautiloid. Bad luck.

jeremy's role can be that of a companion or of a TAV / group leader. he's the alpha of a werewolf pack and fits naturally in the leadership role however he will also happily give advice to a TAV / group leader instead. just don't bark orders at him.he may be cautious about sharing that he is a werewolf to the group at the start, but once he ensures they are not a threat to him he will come clean. there is a decent chance him and astarion will recognize what each other are on sight (smell) however, i am of course open to discussing this with astarion rpers first.jeremy will be slow to open up about himself, he's not very talkative - much less about himself.

WEREWOLF
His pack resides in the South Wood forest, and he is the Alpha of his pack. His pack kept to themselves, not interested in getting involved in business that was not theirs. His pack contained Lythari werewolves like himself, and 'normal' variety of werewolves. They also had a strict ‘no eating people’ rule that Jeremy enforced. If any werewolves came onto his territory and caused trouble and especially if they ate people - Jeremy and his pack would deal with them swiftly.As a werewolf, he can turn into a Wolf form at will. He can change at any time at will, but he must change on the full moons.But while infected with the Tadpole, it restricts his ability to change into his other forms. He can do partial changes, such as turning his fingers into claws - but not a full change. He is not happy with this. Especially since he can still feel the call of the moon on full moons. It makes him a very grumpy werewolf close to and on the full moons.

RANGER
As a Ranger and a Beast Master, Jeremy has a ranger companion. One might assume that the werewolf’s companion is a Wolf, and that would make sense. But it is not. It’s actually a on-the-smaller-size bobcat. Or Lynx. Her name is Sage, and Jeremy found her as a kitten, her mother killed by hunters. She is very stealthy and excellent at blending into her surroundings. You most likely won’t see her unless she wants you to see her. She is fiercely protective of Jeremy, and was travelling with him when he got yoinked by the Nautiloid. She uses their bond to locate him after he escapes the Nautiloid and they reunite in their camp.

ABILITIES
Jeremy has some low level Psionic powers. They mostly appear in the form of connecting with his family. He explains it as a werewolf pack bond. It gets a little bit harder to explain when he connects with someone not in his pack. He can tell when someone he is connected to is in danger, and people he has a strong bond with he can visit them in their dreams.In his younger years he noticed these psionic powers manifest in other ways, when his emotions get too strong, things can go flying. Things can start to shake. It stops when he calms himself down. He’s learned to control his emotions and almost always has a mask of stoicism on. Over the years, he’s learned how much emotion has to be… emotioning before things start flying. He does not know what these powers are. If pressed upon them, he will close up and find a way to end the conversation.

MAENAD
Jeremy’s father was a Wood Elf Lythari Werewolf that he does not like to talk about. He was, by all accounts, a horrible man. Abusive in all the ways someone can be abusive. He died - as far as Jeremy is aware - several years ago. But Jeremy never knew his mother, he never knew anything about her. He does not know that his mother was a Maenad, from the planet Eberron. Maenads are a race of psionic humanoids known for their powerful emotions, which they can manifest as psionic force.Maenad’s skin is covered in flecks of sparkling crystals, giving them a peculiar sparkle. Jeremy does not have these flecks covering his entire body but he does have sections of them, sprinkling across his back, shoulders and upper arms like freckles. If asked about them Jeremy will just say they are birthmarks and refuse to elaborate further. If anyone tries to pry, he will get more uncomfortable and evade the conversation.

Act 1

jeremy and the very much no good bad day

despite the situation, jeremy is a constant level of calm. he is very good at thinking things through. he will take a leader role unless there is another tav who fits into the role more. in that case, he will be there to help them if they want any guidance.he will inform the group that he is a werewolf pretty much straight away. he will keep the fact he is the leader of his pack a secret for longer.

Act 2

jeremy and the rising stress

the shadowcursed lands are like a heavy weight on jeremy; his werewolf side being negatively affected by the cut off from the moon. he will be a bit grumpier than usual

Act 3

jeremy doesn't like big city

after finally making it to baldurs gate, jeremy is absolutely disgusted with the state of the city. he isn't a fan of cities in general, but the way refugees are being treated is horrific.

MAIN VERSE

Set during an undetermined point during the Women of the Otherworld Series, where Jeremy is Alpha of the North American Pack. Also for when WOTOW werewolf lore is considered the main canon for werewolves. This is the verse used when there are no specific werewolf lore that is followed. Also works for the Syfy's tv adaption of the books, BITTEN. Though there are divergences there.

NON-LUNAR

Crossover verse with media that has werewolves tied to the full moon. Jeremy is a different type of werewolf called a Non-Lunar wolf. Rarer than the Lunar Wolves. Alpha of the Stonehaven Pack. After Jeremy was born, and Malcolm came to kill him. His mother managed to escape and took the baby with her. Jeremy was raised outside of the pack. Eventually, Malcolm killed Jeremy’s mother. Jeremy escaped and is now hiding from Malcolm, the Kitsune, and the Pack.
